Si chiama Nervion, ma i bilbaini lo chiamano così. in fondo a sinistra c'è l'Ayuntamiento (il municipio) e lungo le rive ci sono casetas approntate per la festa, questa foto infatti è stata scattata durante la Semana Grande (Aste Nagusia in basco), feria che dura una settimana a partire dalla 3 domenica di agosto. C'è grande animazione e molte attrazioni sparse in giro per la città, una mi ha particolarmente colpito: la competizione di fuochi d'artificio che prevede tutte le sere un grande e intenso spettacolo con le migliori aziende pirotecniche del mondo. Una volta ho visto vincere un'impresa italiana. porta sfortuna ;-) In realtà a questo ragazzo potrebbe essere andata bene, dopo una forte mareggiata (qui si vede qualcosa di ciò che ha portato il mare) i pesci vengono più vicino alla riva dove i fondali sono stati smossi e si può trovare cibo.
