Yeovil shunter

DS1169. The Yeovil Junction PW Yard shunter. Built 1946 and delivered to the Bristol Aeroplane Company at Weston-Super-Mare, it was purchased by BR (Southern Region) in 1948 and transferred to Folkestone Warren. In 1962 it was moved to Yeovil Junction to shunt the Permanent Way Department Yard. Here we see it out of use in the yard at Yeovil Junction.
