Stabling point at Southampton Western Dock, with Class 07s 2996 2992 and 2989 on view. 2996 went to Powell Duffryn at Kidwelly in 1976 as 07012 and later moved to British Steel Scunthorpe, where it can still be found. 2996 was never renumbered and scrapped at Eastleigh in 1976. 2989 became 07003 and was sold to ICI at Middlesborough, then later bought by the Great Central Railway at Loughborough.
