Hindlow tunnel
The stub of the former Buxton to Ashbourne branch reaches as far as Dowlow Quarry about a mile down the line through the tunnel at Hindlow. To the right is some of the plant of the quarry that was once Beswick's limeworks, sadly no longer rail served. The limekilns are out of view to the right.
