It is with an installed capacity of 3,960 MW, the largest thermal power plant in the UK and produces seven percent of the electrical energy needs. Maximum 36,000 tons of coal can be burned per day, the consumption per year is seven to eleven million tons of coal, which the Drax power station is the largest emitter of carbon dioxide (CO2) in the UK.

When I worked on radio towers I had a 360 deg view. These people have only half that except at the top. Though the top is 14m higher than I've worked at.
