The Hyde Hall train

Whilst out and about tracing the course of the Denton Colliery Railway this train appeared close to the route of the line which closed in the late 1920s. Speculation was rife as to whether it was the Paddy train for the miners, but it appears that more likely it provides accommodation for the ponies! ;-)
