Small mine at Sanjiazi

The deep mines around Nanpiao are supplemented by large numbers of small drifts, particularly around Sanjiazi at the end of the western branch of the mining railway. This example is typical of the area, with a steep drift, props lying around, along with tubs and a small man riding carriage for the men.
