Trentham Gravel Co Ltd

The Trentham Gravel Co. Ltd. once operated a quarry at Trentham and in 1948 when this was worked out they purchased land at Willoughbridge and Lordsley in Shropshire. Here they developed a modern and efficient gravel works with a production of 2,000 tons of materials per day. I found this gem of an advert in the 1960 Stoke-On-Trent Official Handbook.
