A chilly morning at the Jalainur opencast mine and my good friend Channel Packet had gone off in search of the perfect excavator shot. Left behind and waiting for the morning 'passenger' to emerge from the pit my attention was drawn to the sound of a hard working SY drawing a heavy spoil train onto the tip, The exhaust seemed to be going up for ever.
