1960 Messerschmitt KR200

From 1955 to 1964, Messerschmitt built 40,000 KR200 Kabinenroller three-wheeled microcars, which were designed by German aeronautical engineer Fritz Fend. Their single-cylinder 10-horsepower engine would have normally made them slow cars, but their lightweight streamlined design gave them a top speed of almost 90 miles per hour. This black 1960 De Luxe version is displayed at the Science Museum in London.
