Andean Upstart

My new Argentine saguaro cactus from the Andean slopes may be small now, but aspires to grow to a height of 7 meters when it reaches adulthood (in about 40 years).
I can hardly wait . . .

This photo was taken by a Hasselblad 500C and Carl Zeiss Sonnar 1:4 f=150mm lens attached to a 21mm extension tube with a Kowa L39•3C(UV) filter using CineStill 50D film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.
