Ironweed. I don't see this much here as it normally needs more dampness. That said.. I get occasional stems of it. I love the colour and this was catching shaded morning light. Its a disaster year here. Literally.. no butterflies.... no bees.... nothing. Maybe they will still come Artwork mine own

The racoons will get the Peaches before I do ! I managed to rescue 6 Peaches for me last year. Such is life. What is mine is theirs ! And its down to freezing tonight.. so its in the lap of the gods as to whether we get any Peaches or Pears ! EXPLORED !

This tree was all but dead with the terrible long drought we had. Then last year the huge rains have given it back a life. Perhaps the Raccoons and Possums will allow me to have an apple later in the year ! EXPLORED !
