I don't think this is granite at all but the other shot of this fall is. So, multi rock types, as with other places on the North Cornish coast!
I could go and check the rock for you, Andy - but it might involve getting a little bit wet :)
I do have a series of beach geology photos from around here waiting in the wings - will upload sometime soon (though I might go for the scary arty trees first ;)
I suppose I ought to learn more about rock types... I'm a bit clueless about that.
