Downy Woodpecker on lichen-covered tree

A couple of days ago, I called in at Fish Creek Park to see if there was any sign of the Long-tailed Weasel. It did come out, but for maybe five minutes, running around. I managed to get two or three shots, but that was all. This little Downy Woodpecker made up for it, though, perching so nicely on such a beautiful, lichen-covered tree trunk. Normally, I would probably have cropped the image to square, but I couldn't bring myself to losing any of the vibrant orange.
