Thoughts of spring

Photographed at the Calgary Zoo on 2 October 2010. I kept coming across this photo that I had put into a folder of possible photos to upload to Flickr and finally I have done it. I rather liked the bokeh in this shot.
The temperature got down to -20C last night, but is now "only" -12C. I overslept by two and a half hours and so I will be extremely late for my volunteer shift. That is, if I can manage to get my car to start - the battery in my remote starter has died, too, unfortunately. Hopefully, I can clear the snow and ice off my vehicle, as I have stayed home the last two days, thanks to the frigid temperatures we had. So, gotta dash - see you later!
