Prairie blues and golds

Flickr has still not fixed the problem of Contacts' photos not showing up on the My Contacts page and vice versa. This is the second day in a row now, so hopefully it will be fixed - and soon!
Another view from Frank Lake, SE of Calgary, looking west towards the edge of the distant Rocky Mountains. The main part of the lake is off to the left of my photo and mostly frozen over. This photo was taken on 6 April 2014. Yesterday, 9 April, a friend sent me a photo taken on 8 April, showing that the wooden birding blind (hide) - off to the left of image - was surrounded by rising water and was now on an "island". Many people are now thinking of last June's Alberta Flood of the Century!
