Colourful trio

These were very tiny mushrooms growing on a log at Brown-Lowery Provincial Park on 16 July 2013. The cluster was maybe an inch and a half tall, and I thought they were rather cute. Not much in the way of fungi that day, as it was still a bit early for the peak of the mushroom season (August). I still have a lot of fungi photos that I should eventually upload - unfortunately they aren't very exciting images, so I tend to avoid posting them : )
It's -7C (windchill -13C) this morning (25 March 2014) and is heavily overcast, making me wonder if snow is in the forecast. Sure enough, flurries are expected this afternoon (Tuesday), all the way through Sunday. The following week looks much sunnier so far, thank goodness.
