Contrasting textures

Last year, 2013, turned out to be a not particularly good year for fungi. On top of that, almost every place where I have seen mushrooms before, was closed, thanks to all the devastation caused by the Alberta Flood of the Century in June. As a result, I was thrilled to bits to see ANY fungus, even if not a very spectacular one : ) This trio was growing in the Sikome area in Fish Creek Park on 29 September 2013.
