Photographed this beautiful pink Poppy on 4 September 2013 at the Reader Rock Garden. Judging by the weather forecast, this week is going to be a cold one, with snow flurries tonight and tomorrow. Whoever said that this winter was going to be a long, hard one could not have been more right!

Ha, a beautiful Poppy for a nice Autumn day Anne ... currently I am waiting for the snow to stop so I can shovel it ... LOL ... there are about 15-20 cm drifts due to the wind, and lots of work when the snowfall stops by mid-afternoon ... that is very cold weather you are having too ... we are at -7C going to -13C this evening, not as bad as in CGY ... but -26C with wind chills of -33C is not pleasant either ... it is just a miserable day today!!
