It takes a village to raise a child
No idea why that expression came into my mind, other than that I thought all these colourful moss spore capsules looked like they were surrounding the single, small mushroom in a protective way. Taken at Brown-Lowery Provincial Park, SW of Calgary, on 17 August 2013.
