Orchid beauty

I thought this was a rather interesting colour combination yesterday, when I saw these beautiful Orchids in the ENMAX Conservatory at the Calgary Zoo. The Staff work so hard to keep the displays at the Conservatory looking beautiful all year round, and I know that I, for one, thoroughly appreciate it.. There were so many people in there yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised by just how many parents very thoughtfully told their children to wait a moment, "the lady is trying to take a photo". I always appreciate this - but of course never "expect" it, as children enter into a different, exciting world when they are in the butterfly room : )
