Abandoned

This was a rather fine abandoned house found east of the city yesterday, when birding friends, John and Lorrie, invited me to go with them in search of Snowy Owls. How lucky I am! Always makes me wonder what the story is behind a tumbledown home like this. Maybe it belonged to an elderly person who lived alone and had no children to pass it on to? Or maybe the owners simply built a new home and left this one standing.
