A different kind of perch

Not a very photogenic perch, for sure, but it's a male Snowy Owl! Still not completely pure white, so he still hasn't reached full adulthood. The sky was blue that day, too, which doesn't seem to have been happening all that often for some time - at least, not when I've been out with my camera. It snowed yesterday, so these Snowies are going to be even more difficult to find, against a background of white fields. Taken east of the city on February 11th. Fully zoomed and heavily cropped, as usual : )
