A beautiful winter's day


Actually, it was a very overcast day, but not too cold, and the falling snow was amazing. The Elbow River, seen on our Calgary Christmas Bird Count scouting trip on December 11th (the actual Count was held a week later, on December 18th). By the time we had walked for about four hours, we were looking rather like an assortment of snowmen and snowwomen : )
