Bastard Toadflax / Comandra umbellata

This is a macro shot of a very small wildflower, called Pale Comandra or Bastard Toadflax, Comandra umbellata. This plant is native to Alberta and is in bloom May to June. Flowers are 2-4 mmm long and whitish in colour. These were photographed on 5th June, when four of us went to botanize the Nature Conservancy area near Rosedale, Alberta.
