Bird's-nest Fungi

A macro shot to show a few of the very tiny Bird's-nest Fungi I photographed recently. The actual size is closer to the size of your "pinkie" fingernail. This is before the caps split and the "eggs" full of spores are dispersed out of the cups when raindrops fall on them. Seen at Burnsmead.
