Textured cap
This really is a beauty, don't you think? Love the texture that covers the mushroom cap and the actual shroom colour. Saw this one growing on a low embankment near the side of the rough path in West Bragg Creek Natural Area, on 22nd August. Pretty surrounded by moss and lichen, including the Peltigera aphthosa at the top. Thanks, Doug, for including that ID, LOL! Now all you need to come up with is an ID for the mushroom itself, ha, ha.
