Inglewood Bird Sanctuary

This was taken at the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary ten days ago, with fall colours and a partially iced lagoon.
"This 36-hectare wildlife reserve offers more than two kilometres of level walking trails and over 1 km of nature trails, throughout the riverine forest, by the flowing river and alongside a peaceful lagoon. More than 270 species of birds, 21 species of mammals, 2 amphibians, 2 reptiles, 7 species of fish and 27 species of butterflies as well as 347 species of plants have been observed in the area. While spring and summer are prime times for viewing birds, a variety of wildlife can be seen throughout the year." From content.calgary.ca/CCA/City+Business/Buy+from+The+City/Re...
