Wow - Amanita!

After a long, long day of botanizing the forest area of the west end of Bragg Creek Provincial Park yesterday, we were within sight of the car park when suddenly we noticed this amazing sight! An Amanita! It was an absolute beauty - my photo doesn't do it justice at all. It looked very much like a small orange, and its shape made me think of a small snow-globe : ) I have SOOOO many photos of mushrooms - sorry, please bear with me : )
