Whoooo are yoooo?

We found this Great Horned Owl on the east side of the Bow River, opposite Hull's Wood and Sikome, Fish Creek Park, this morning. Perhaps this could be one of the two young owls from last year from Sikome? The poor thing was being greatly harassed by Magpies! After the morning walk, I called in at Sikome to check on "my" owls after hearing from a friend that the female was at the top of the nesting tree yesterday. However, today, two of the owls were in the winter Spruce tree and one was in a nearby Spruce tree behind the wire fence. I was SO glad I called in here, as I was treated to a little Weasel in his white, winter coat. Took me by surprise when I got home and looked at my photos, as there is no black tip to the tail and the tail was only fairly short. Maybe some animal caught it by the tail and it now has a shorter tail? So, now I'm not sure if it was a Long-tailed or a Short-tailed Weasel (Ermine).
