Living in green

Discovered these mushrooms this afternoon when I drove out west of the city, to Maclean Pond and Elbow Falls. My main purpose was to try and find a few fungi and to simply enjoy the warm, sunny day. Not a particularly successful trip, though I'm always happy to find even one new thing. On the return drive, I was getting fairly close to the city when I found out that this main highway travelling west was closed off, with Police cars and yellow Police tape. Had to stop and think what other way there IS to get home and ended up having to drive way south through rolling countryside and then east.
