Hunger

Saw my usual pair of Red Squirrels when I dashed out to the park this morning. They share such a beautiful grove of trees in the forest with the Chickadees, both kinds of Nuthatches, the Brown Creepers, and now the Northern Pygmy-owls, and Black-backed and American Three-toed Woodpeckers. Someone had put some seeds on the picnic table and boy, if you happen to be standing between squirrels and food, they complain loudly!
