Northern Flying Squirrel

Another quick shot in very poor light of this wonderful sighting! This little Northern Flying Squirrel came out of its nesting box when Don (the gentleman who kindly took us on his Bluebird nesting box route) tapped gently on the box. I'd have to ask again, but I think there were three babies inside. It's so unusual for these Flying Squirrels to be seen, as they are nocturnal. Love the big eyes!
