Waterproof baby

Just had to check on the baby Great Horned Owl again today. I found a very bedraggled bird, thanks to the rain and snow that were falling. Only about 2C today, 21st May! A very different looking creature compared to the photos I posted a few days ago! It looks much older when wet. It was very curious while watching me slowly move among the trees. Amazingly hard to find again once I had taken my eyes off it for just a moment . I only had to move a few feet and it had disappeared behind the leaves and branches.
