tree in spring

For about one week in spring, this view greets me on my way to work. No matter what I feel like, when I see this tree in full bloom like this, it always lifts my spirit...

I don't think it is hawthorn, no thorns; I think it is some kind of prunus but I am not 100%... no fruits either...

Right, a clue maybe?

On this same street, a massive reinforced concrete arched structure covering an area of 73 350 square feet (6 814 m2) was built in the 1950s to house 200 London buses...
