"Why Walk When You Can Fly"
Explored! Thank you very much :-)

I previously uploaded a mono version of this scene. Now 'tis the turn of the colour version, taken on New Year's Day :-)

There is a bird flying high and I'm sure it is thinking "Why Walk When You Can Fly". Which, of course, leads to "Why Walk When You Can Fly" by Mary Chapin Carpenter :-)

It's a nice scene Roger, away from the theme of your photograph have you any idea what the cones are on top of the post? I tend to think they are for warning that shorter posts are beneath the water line when the tide is in. Several resorts around North Norfolk have the same.
Enjoyed the Music by MCC by the way.

Cheers, Maurice. I don't know the reason for the cones but your suggestion that they are for warning that shorter posts are beneath the water line when the tide is in seems a very plausible explanation!
