Isle of Wight

Returned home yesterday after spending New Year on the Isle of Wight. There is now lots and lots.........and lots of catching-up for me to do :-)) From Wikipedia - “Ventnor is a seaside resort established in the Victorian era on the south coast of the Isle of Wight, England. It lies underneath St Boniface Down (which, at 241 metres (791 feet), is the highest point on the Isle of Wight), and is built on steep slopes and cliffs leading down to the sea. The sheltered location on the cliff of the Island's south coast means the area experiences a micro-climate with more sunny days than much of the British Isles, and fewer frosts.”

But, I think I may have actually caught-up commenting upon postings to our 'Soundtrack to Life' Group :-) So, in way of a small celebration I am uploading this shot to - Soundtrack to Life The song talks of water and a boat for two. There is water in my shot and a boat although it carries a lot more than just two peeps. But, I think I am allowed this link :-)) The track comes from Fred's classic "Bleeker & MacDougal" album.
