This morning I spent experimenting with this leaf... actually a nice pastime :) After dozens of photos I tried something new. Interesting how the sight influences the mind and supplies you with new ideas... Hope you enjoyed your weekend! Yesterday I spent in the basement sorting out stuff - this was not so much fun but necessary. ;)

At this time of year our trams and busses wear little flags on their tops. ;)

Well, once a year when it is the Fifth Season in Bremen - the 'Bremer Freimarkt'; one of the oldest fairs in Germany (since 1035). ... of the old town centre from above. The Cathedral (Bremer Dom) to the left and the staple of 'Our Lady' church (Liebfrauen-Kirche) to the right. After the ride on the Big Wheel we just enjoyed Schmalzkuchen (kind of donuts) - a MUST - candied almonds, Kartoffelpuffer (kind of potato pancakes with applesauce), 'puffertjes' (a dutch version of mini-pancakes). We missed the ice-cream and the fish-roll. But it would have been too much. Although feeling a bit sick after going to the Freimarkt is quite normal. ;))
