... thought the cat - slowly trotted away and disappeared through the hedge. I have never seen anything like this before. Well, I heard about two magpies who had good fun with a cat by sitting in front of it and at its end. One magpie pecked the cat's tail and when the cat turned round the other magpie did the same. A somewhat cruel game but it seems that also birds can have their own kind of fun... I wondered how protective these two crows were and how brave they confronted their enemy without attacking him.

I know it's a very blurred picture - but it's rather about the story. On my walk two days ago I saw a cat luring at the lake, watching some moorhens and slowly crawling closer. The ducks in the pond became somewhat upset and started to gather railing at the cat. Suddenly two big shadows fluttered down and placed themselved directly in front of the cat's nose. He seemed to be daunted and backed away. (Well looking at those beaks I can understand him). No words were spoken, they just sat and looked...

... the last nights. (Last leaves on our fustet). Der Perückenstrauch hat nochmal seine Kopfbedeckung gefärbt. ;)

... can have a certain charme. There is one close to our home that is very beautiful, almost like a park. I like to go on walks here - there is always something else to see. Lots of monuments ... but also some wildlife. Particularly the crows are very wild... ;)

You never know if there's someone with some nuts in his/her pocket. ;)

Schneewittchen ('Snow White') still hopes for some warm weather ... unfortunately they announced some frost this night. It was a gorgeous sunny day - and I hope you enjoyed your Sun-Day too! :)

I saw this strange pastel coloured rainbow recently in the (blue) sky and wondered what it was. It reminded me of the icebow I saw in the Arctic. www.ipernity.com/doc/291293/23268241/in/album/442871 But this one here was much thinner and less visible.
