There is something special about English landscapes. Somehow it often looks like from a picture book.

So one won't need to colour the wool later. ;) I loved how the lambs peeped out of the grass. ;)

... just behind the bridge. Btw, all these photos were taken with a manual camera, so the photos are scanned. I think it was the last time I used the Canon AE1. (Would work with the HFF group) ;)

... toward an adventurous hiking tour. ;) Well, we borrowed hiking boots at our guest house, and of course they didn't fit perfectly in some cases. I fortunatly took my trainers along - and it was a relief when we went down again to get rid of my boots. One woman had serious problems; she had to go - well, limp - back.

I just thought that I could add some pictures of a weekend trip in the Lake District (as I have a friend here, Joan, who lives in this region). This is quite a while ago, I think in 2005 - and after a very stressful time at my living place in Reading this tour was so enormously relaxing that a friend afterwards told me that I seemed totally changed. Amazing what some fresh air, some mountains and some excercise can do to body and soul... ;) I am not sure after all this time - but I think we stayed at Keswick.
