Shall I? Shan't I?

It was funny to watch this crow. First it went with a flock of seagulls and then sat down on the rail of this small bridge. He looked pretty indecisive. Shall I jump down? Shan't I? - Finally he flew down and sat in the shallow water, not drinking, not bathing - and I wondered if he tried to find out if he could probably swim like a seagull. After a while he gave up and flew back onto the rail... looked down and seemed to ponder on a next try.
