Clouds over Longyearbyen

Clouds over Longyearbyen
This is the only cloud formation that comes close to what I saw yesterday. Somewhat nicer because of the landscape - although not that pinkish. ;) This was at 22.30 pm ... with a very long-lasting sunset that transformed into a sunrise later. ;)

Das Bild stammt von einer zweiwöchigen Reise in die Arktis ... Die Reiseumstände selbst waren etwas ungewöhnlich - und auch die vielen Dinge, die man zu sehen bekam.

Ich hatte einen Job auf einem (Expeditions)-Schiff mit sechs Gästen... Ich habe es selbst nicht recht geglaubt, als klar wurde, dass ich mitfahren würde.
