Clover Lake

On the way back from our hike out to the Harriette Lake vista, we stopped here for about 15 minutes. It was an enchanting little lake, and the temperature was perfect for a swim for any who dared (had I brought my swimsuit I'd have definitely jumped in!) As a photographer, I was overwhelmed at this view, and then at the countless dragon- and damselflies soaring around everywhere. For the first time, I got many very nice images of dragonflies and I've posted two of them to my set, "Hike to Mountain Lakes." There you will also see other pictures I took on this pretty hike!
