Spotlit Mushroom and a Dancing Fairy

[best appreciated at full size against black]
Yesterday I climbed up to our ridgeline to retake a bunch of images I messed up the day before because I stubbornly refused to use my tripod. I spent a couple of hours taking pictures and found some very magical shots. This image was a surprise for when I looked at it on my computer. The sun was shining on this little mushroom and I thought it might create a nice sunflare. Instead, it's made a spotlight! And then I discovered that behind the spotlight is a dancing fairy...do you see it?! This shot is a really great example why macro lenses are so special. The bokeh that you get can be so magical and you never know what you will get until you see the images on the screen!
I've uploaded two other pictures today and I hope you'll visit them too!
Thanks to all of you who have visited and have left comments and favorites! I try to go to all of your pages within a day or two and is a highlight for me to see your beautiful photography! :)
NOTE! I have finally updated my profile and I hope you'll take a look to find out a little more about me and how important all of you are to my experience here on Flickr!
