Russet Leaf Caught on a Twig Adorned with a Droplet

[best appreciated at full size against black]
We have a seasonal pond down by our front gate, and at the edge of it is the only tree of its type on our property. I really like the shape of its leaves and I found this one that had fallen off the tree and got stuck on the way down. Is it me or does it appear to be hanging on for dear life?! It wasn't until I saw this image on my computer that I saw the droplet which was once frost!
