Grand Collomia: The 141st Flower of Spring & Summer! (2 more pix below!)

Because I add only one new flower a day for my flower count, and I sometimes miss days, the images I took all the way back in JUNE are only now appearing here in OCTOBER!! That's so funny to me! :D I hope that you don't mind that the pictures are so out of date! And just so you know...there are still probably about 25 more flowers before I'm done putting up pictures! Amazing, isn't it?!!
This is one of the only peach-colored flowers we have on our property and I simply love it!! This delicate beauty is found growing under the canopy of trees and grows to a height of about 8-10". I think the flowers look like pastel wedding bouquets when in full bloom! :)
Grand Collomia is part of the phlox family and is native to western North America. It is also cultivated as an ormamental plant and seeds can be found for sale, including from Amazon!
