Living out in the countryside with wilderness all around me, I see the passage of time and the cycle of life every day. I found this fawn's jawbone one day while on a walk with the dogs, and thought it could be beautiful if it were kissed by frost.

Charlie Chan is a fictive U.S. Chinese detective created by Earl Derr Biggers. Loosely basing Chan on Honolulu detective Chang Apana, Biggers conceived of the benevolent and heroic Chan as an alternative to Yellow Peril stereotypes, villains like Fu Manchu. Chan is a detective for the Honolulu police, though many stories feature Chan traveling the world as he investigates mysteries and solves crimes. Wiki: Charlie Chan
