I discovered this lovely family one morning on a photo walk, and after I watched them frolicking through the moss, I asked them if I could take their picture. All of them glided together into a perfect portrait!
By the way, I loved this quote but I didn't know who George Santyana was, so I looked him up. A Harvard philosopher, essayist, poet, and novelist, George Santayana authored more than 40 books, many of which were collections of letters that he'd written to more than 350 recipients. You will probably know these two thought-provoking quotes of his:
"Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."
"Only the dead have seen the end of war."
If you would like to know more about this fascinating man, Wiki has a page about him here: Wiki: George Santayana
Thanks to all of you who have visited and have left comments and favorites! I try to go to all of your pages within a day or two (when I'm not buried in work) and is a highlight for me to see your beautiful photography! :)
