Sporophyte Tear Drops


If you take a close look at moss, you will notice the sporophytes that grow from some of them. As you begin to appreciate them, you'll also see that they look different depending on which moss they grow from!
I have never seen this kind of sporophyte before and I think they are really awesome looking! Ok, to be honest, I've never seen a sporophyte that wasn't cool! :D By the way, the green leafy stuff at the lower left is the moss...I think it looks a lot like seaweed! :)
