Susie Lake

A nice glacial basin off the Pacific Crest Trail above Fallen Leaf Lake, on the west side of Lake Tahoe in the Desolation Wilderness. Sierra Nevada, California, USA. The elevation here is about 7800 ft/~2400 m. Looking north; the inset shows a view south. Now that we'd gotten all this altitude, it would have been nice to hike along the PCT for a while, but we were out of time! I also haven't been able to find out who Susie was.
